Employment Conference - 8 October 2009
Mandolay Hotel, Guildford
In the current climate it is more important than ever that you are getting the most from your people and vice versa, and with this in mind we are pleased to announce our Employment Conference on 8 October 2009.
The conference is aimed at those involved at every level of people management whether you are a dedicated HR manager, a director, a general manager or a business owner.
We are delighted to announce that we have the following speakers for this event:
Steve Herbert of employee benefits experts Origen. Steve will be addressing hot topics in employee benefits. As well as being a delightful and informative speaker, Steve has a exceptional breadth of knowledge and understanding surrounding your need to offer the best in benefits, but at the most sensible cost.
Chris Hughes, Finance Director of National Milk Records plc. Chris and his team have pioneered a fascinating employee relations policy called PRIDE and we are thrilled that he has kindly agreed to come and speak to us. Chris understands that Human Resources has a vital role to play in the effective management of an organisation.
Old square Chambers are one of the premier Employment Law sets at the Bar and we shall be welcoming one of their top barristers to bring their view of the current state of Employment law.
Tim Randles from Laytons will be offering an employment law update and will speak about the common problems currently being encountered in the workplace.
