Risk Seminar - Thursday, 18 June 2009
Risks and opportunities face every business: what distinguishes successful firms from less successful ones is how they integrate appropriate analysis of their risks and opportunities into their decision-making at every level.
On Thursday 18 June, Laytons solicitors and Shirlaws Business Coaching will jointly host a seminar on how to identify, analyse and manage the risks and opportunities your business may face.
The event is aimed at CEOs and senior management and will cover the following:
- Understanding management teams’ propensity for risk – and how that affects internal action and behaviour
- Understanding how the nature of risk changes as a business develops
- Understanding how your attitude to risk will influence your investment decisions and thus impact future business value
- Aspects of risk you can control and manage versus market-led issues outside your control
- Managing what occurs internally across the business
- Process and infrastructure
- Legal Risk and Opportunity Analysis
- Dispute resolution
We will finish the day with an interactive Q&A session with our panel of experts.
The seminar will take place at Laytons offices Carmelite 50 Victoria Embankment, Blackfriars, London EC4Y OLS on Thursday 18 June at 4.30pm and be presented by James McCarthy, Richard Kennett and Richard Harrison.
