I studied Law at Manchester from 1998-2001 and I knew from the moment I stepped into my first family law lecture that I was going to qualify as a matrimonial lawyer. I sought to train with one of the best family teams in Manchester and was attracted to Laytons because of the reputation of Christine Barker Head of Family. I have never looked back. The exposure I have to complex cases as a trainee and latterly as an assistant solicitor has been incredible and the opportunites I have been given by the team to hone my skills at the client coal face is immeasurable - I am grateful to have trained with Laytons and relish being a part of their future.
