Fixing our broken housing market:
Laytons LLP & Hardwicke Chambers
Back in 7 February 2017 the Government published its white paper “Fixing our broken housing market” with the stated aims of providing more land for homes where people want to live, ensuring that homes are built quickly once planning permissions are granted, diversifying the housing market and taking steps to help people now.
It then embarked on an extensive consultation process on the various proposals put forward in the white paper. The Government’s responses to those consultations were published earlier this year and were received with much interest by those involved in the residential development industry. We are now seeing some of the outputs from the process, notably a revised NPPF which has been published in July.
This seminar will focus on considering where we are now in light of those responses and reforms, and how they might affect developers and others.
This event is aimed primarily at those involved in residential development, in whatever capacity.
It will also provide a great opportunity to network with fellow professionals and to meet Laytons’ specialist residential development team.
