“...the ‘very experienced’ Liz Bottrill, who ‘fights her clients’ corner but also adopts a sensible approach during negotiations’...”
Liz joined Laytons in 2016. She has specialised in the field of matrimonial law for over 25 years, and during that time has developed a strong record in advising clients from all backgrounds in relation to the financial implications arising from a family breakdown and any disputes affecting their children.
Clients compliment Liz on the way in which she supports them through the trauma of being divorced, while fiercely protecting their interests by using a combination of sound legal knowledge and pragmatic advice. She is able to bring her experience of many years in the field to ensure her clients achieve the best outcome possible in the particular circumstances of their case and in the most cost-effective manner.
Liz has acted for clients whose financial affairs are complex, involving substantial business interests, multiple pension schemes, complicated trust arrangements and tax issues. She is equally comfortable advising clients where serious allegations are made in respect of their children, either by the other parent or by outside agencies.
