Guidance on automatic disqualification rules

One of the significant changes introduced by the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016 was the extension of the current automatic disqualification rules to a broader range of individuals and circumstances.
 

The law comes into force on 1 August 2018 and charities and trustees should ensure they understand the changes and have systems in place to place to identify trustees or senior managers that have become disqualified after their appointment.
