Nicola lifts the lid on what the realities of her practice and what it's like to negotiate painful marriage splits
She says:
“In reality, as lawyers we are bound by a professional duty to act in our client’s best interests and certainly racking up costs unnecessarily would not fall within doing that.
“We also have obligations to be upfront about costs from the outset and give estimates and cost forecasts throughout a case.”
