Sebastian qualified as a Solicitor in 2024 and is an Associate in Laytons' commercial disputes team.

Sebastian’s recent work includes:

International arbitration proceedings arising from contractual and technology-related claims;
Shareholder disputes;
Contractual and misrepresentation claims;
Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings, including claims under personal guarantees;
Insolvency-related disputes; and
Complex property disputes involving commercial and high-value residential assets.

Sebastian is developing his experience of negotiation techniques, such as mediation, that are deployed to resolve disputes. He enjoys the strategic and intellectual challenges of litigation, particularly in analysing evidence and developing arguments, and finds it rewarding to help clients to navigate complex disputes to achieve the best possible outcome.
