Daniel qualified as a solicitor at Laytons in January 2018, since then he has gained experience in a broad range of High Court and County Court disputes and of arbitration. His work has included:
Website disputes;
Probate and Trust disputes;
Debt recovery and insolvency (personal and corporate);
contractual disputes, including early termination and vicarious liability;
Unjust enrichment claims;
Professional negligence claims; and
Property disputes
Daniel’s recent work includes:
High value shareholders’ disputes
Assisting with two multi-million pound arbitrations: (1) A dispute between African companies involving large scale disclosure and document management (2) A claim against a major steel producer involving contracts in the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania
A high value contractual dispute arising from a share purchase agreement, involving allegations of breaches of warranties and implied terms, misrepresentation, and a claim of unjust enrichment
Assisting in a number of cross border company mergers
Daniel also has recent experience of assisting clients in round table settlement meetings and of mediation.
Outside the office Dan is a long-time Brentford FC season ticket holder, who is enjoying riding the wave of their recent success. He also enjoys rugby, cricket and golf.
