Dimitri is the head of our Commercial Department and is a specialist commercial lawyer advising high-profile companies and individuals with a particular emphasis on international companies investing or trading in the UK. He is fluent in Italian.

 

Dimitri’s commercial practice involves: 

  • acting for international market leaders in the travel and tourism, fashion, luxury goods, software, innovative technology, construction and manufacturing industries; 

  • advising on branding and licensing agreements; 

  • advising on corporate governance;  

  • advising individuals in the UK financial services industry on regulatory investigations and proceedings (including insider trading and market abuse), often with foreign dimension (SEC, US Justice Department and CONSOB); 

  • real estate advice for international private investors and corporate clients; 

  • employment advice for individuals, international organisations and foreign and domestic companies; and 

  • advising companies on cross-border transactions, joint ventures, international litigation and arbitration.

 

Dimitri’s recent work includes:

  • advising an Italian fashion brand with stores worldwide on a variety of commercial matters including agency and service agreements, terms and conditions, data protection, partnership and brand agreements, and concession agreements;

  • acting for a leading designer, manufacturer and distributer of luxury furniture for international brands including commercial agreements, employment advice and intellectual property advice;

  • advising a leading specialist travel group on data protection matters, influencer agreements, policy updates and employment matters.

  • advising on the listing of a start up on AQUIS, now listed on the LSE; 

  • advising an Italian corporate buyer on the acquisition of a business operating in the UK, USA, and Germany; 

  • advising on international introduction, secondment and influencer agreements;   

  • advising corporates on regulatory matters; 

  • advising on high-profile multi-jurisdictional proceedings (civil and criminal) involving regulatory matters, and complex financial transactions;  

  • advising an individual being investigated for alleged insider trading;  

  • advising a US company on the acquisition of a software company; 

  • advising an international company operating in the NHS; 

  • advising on production, filming and talent agreements for an international market leader.
