Deeva is an Associate in the Commercial team. She has, over the course of her career, developed a strong expertise in commercial contracts and data protection matters, and works with businesses, from start-ups to international household names across a wide range of industries including tech, travel, fashion and retail, and life sciences.

A key aspect of Deeva’s practice is her dedication to knowing her clients and their business models and building up strong relationships with them. She provides clear and pragmatic legal advice, tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges of each client as well as help their businesses achieve their broader commercial objectives.

She has also assisted several clients with navigating the complexities of the GDPR and UK Data Protection laws, understanding their obligations as both data controllers and processors, handling subject access requests and implementing the correct documentation and policies for the business.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Deeva is a dynamic individual with a passion for travel, the outdoors and sports. In her spare time, you’ll likely find her exploring new destinations, engaging in outdoor activities (such as padel, Tough Mudder, hiking) or cheering on her favourite football team (Arsenal!) during weekends. Deeva also speaks other languages including Gujarati and Swahili.
